Water Restoration Technician/general Labor Water Mitigation Vs Water Damage Restoration Faq
Oh boy, have I got some interesting pictures to show you all today. I stumbled upon a few images that reminded me of when I decided to try my hand at being a water damage restoration expert. Spoiler alert: it did not go well.
Image 1: Applied Structural Drying Course (ASD)

First up, we have an image from the Applied Structural Drying course. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm not exactly sure what we're looking at here. Seems to me like a group of people standing around a wet room, trying to figure out what to do next. But hey, what do I know? Maybe they're actually doing some high-level calculations to determine the exact amount of water damage present.
Image 2: Applied Structural Drying Class

Next, we have a picture from an Applied Structural Drying class. Here we have a room that looks like it's been flooded, and a group of people in hazmat suits. I don't know about you, but that's not exactly what I signed up for when I decided to be a water damage restoration expert. I thought I'd get to wear cool rubber boots and maybe a poncho.
Image 3: Water Mitigation vs Water Damage Restoration FAQ

Now this is a picture I can get on board with. We've got a helpful list of FAQs comparing water mitigation versus water damage restoration. I mean, sure, it might be a lot of work to read through it all, but at least we'll be informed, right?
Image 4: Water Damage Cleanup Fire Damage Repair

And last but certainly not least, we have a picture from Bluewater Restoration, a company that specializes in water damage cleanup and fire damage repair. I don't know about you, but when I see a picture of someone in a hazmat suit holding up beakers of mysterious liquids, it doesn't exactly give me warm fuzzy feelings. But hey, at least they know what they're doing.
So there you have it, folks. A snapshot of the exciting world of water damage restoration. I think I'll stick to being a funny person, personally. It's a lot less wet.
